Waikiki Place at Marine Surf Waikiki

Waikiki place was an excellent choice for accommodations since it resides in the heart of all the activity. We did not need a car except when visiting the other side of the island. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Convenient food stores, restaurants, and a large mall gave us access to everything we needed for the week. Having the kitchen was a big plus for us especially since it meant having breakfast on the balcony. We plan on coming back for a longer stay. The room and building was very clean. The free parking was appreciated.

The room was spacious and ready by the promised time and the staff really made an effort to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The air conditioning worked well. The location was very walkable and convenient, very close to several nice beaches, restaurants, and shops. The pool was also a great amenity to enjoy during our downtime as well. The private lanai was nice to take in the views and enjoy a drink or breakfast. We were also able to see some fireworks one night from there. Parking was free, easy, and convenient once we figured out how it worked the first time. This was actually one of the main reasons I chose to stay here since most places in Waikiki seem to charge for parking. It was pouring down rain when we arrived and we had to temporarily park in the loading zone in the street to retrieve the key fob from the mailbox in the lobby of the building. We were initially confused about the location of the assigned parking spot because the entrance on the other side of the building only contained the basement and first floor parking and we actually had to pull around again to the front of the building again to access the 2nd floor parking (which requires the key fob). The check-in guide is helpful for understanding this. We would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in Waikiki again!

Stayed in room 1907 and cannot stop recommending this place! It's in the middle of Waikiki and comes with free assigned parking! The garage is a tight squeeze to get down to so drive slow. The room was larger than expected and we appreciated having a kitchen and sofa! The sound proofing was quite good as we never heard our neighbors, but the downside is you can hear anything outside through the glass (but they provide ear plugs thank you!). So any cop cars, screaming drunk people, etc can be heard. The AC works super well but I do have to note it doesn't reach all the way to the bathroom. They provide so much stuff for a good time at the beach which we didn't know: beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, etc. Location is supee great as everything is within walking distance. They email you clear instructions on how to get your fob, find your parking spot, etc through their portal. We had a great time and will definitely consider it again if we visit Oahu in the future.

Waikiki Place is in a perfect location for exploring Waikiki Beach—blocks from beaches, restaurants, shops! Wonderful amenities, such as a well-equipped kitchen, cozy lanai, beach chairs, cooler, snorkeling equipment, beach towels, AND garage parking stall. Tom is a fantastic host—accommodating, helpful, thorough and attentive. This rental is a great value for such a prime location.

I recently spent a week at the Waikiki Place condos in the Marine Surf. I have stayed in all of Tom’s 6 units at one time or another over the past 10 years, This vacation I travelled with family and booked 3 units….Ali’i, Palm and Windjammer. When it comes to Waikiki I always return to my home away from home at Waikiki Place. The units are not the largest or flashiest but they suit my needs….. Location, Kitchen with full size appliances, Cleanliness, Nice View, Free parking, No resort fees, Safety, Prompt resolution to any issues, Good wifi. Thank you Tom for sharing your condos with us.

We stayed in 1907, a studio unit. Booking process, check-in and communications with host were smooth and easy. Much useful information was sent in advance, and hosts were very responsive to questions/requests during our stay. The accommodations for 2 were very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels. Excellent location, very close to the beach and restaurants. Full kitchen had everything we needed. Host’s recommendation for airport transportation was great. We’ll be back and will recommend to friends.

Location, location, location! Walkable to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We stayed in the Beachcomber unit which was clean, bright, and hand a cute, kitschy Hawaiian theme. The rain shower was fabulous after a long day at the beach! Communication with the team was easy. Parking is free! We had an amazing experience and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the island!

Stayed here for 8 nights mid October. Highly recommend if you are wanting to be within walking distance of everything. Cute little studio apartment for our honeymoon was perfect. We rented a car so we could go to different beaches and not be at the over crowded Waikiki. But spent many nights and some afternoons just walking around and trying different restaurants and shopping.
